5 year blogirthday

Happy 5 years of blogging to Living With Passion!

This week marks 5 years of my dream come true!

I completely underestimated how much awareness I would raise, how many lives I would impact and how much my own life would change.

In honor of the 5 years of blogging I am going to rebrand and one of my best friends whose my Kappa Delta sista-friends Alice who did my original brand design is going  to do it once again free for me!
You

Of course you can look forward to more  of my HD journey, living with passion, self help, and life updates but I am adding Fashion and Lifestyle to the new Living With Passion brand!

I am going to be blogging on Monday Wednesday and Fridays so look for those posts and my launch.

I am oh so estatic about the rebrand!

Always remember that our stories matter, sending love and light,

Month of Love Challenge: Day 1 ♥️💝♥️

Happy Month of Love!

Every day until Valentines Day I’m going to do a blog post about some one or something that makes my heart full of happiness!

Today it’s my miracle dog my Lilly love and strawberry frosted donuts

I can’t believe that she just had her 10th birthday and she’s been my baby girl for 4 years!

She’s the sweetest most loving cuddly best behaved dog ever and everyone who meets her agrees!
She can sense when I’m falling asleep anzd comes and joins me and she’s my bff. She loves to play with her toys and I love love buying her oh so adorable clothes and dressing her up!

I love love my Lilly love!!!

I used to get blueberry donuts or jelly sticks but one morning my sister came home with strawberry frosted donuts and I’ve been obsessed ever since and I doespecially love love the Valentine’s Day ones with red and pink sprinkles! I have a pink donut pop socket on my phone and I bought a pink donut pillow at Disney and I got a donut blanket and I  am in search of a donut travel mug!

I love love my strawberry frosted donuts!!!

Authenticity

Good morning my beautiful friends, ☕️💛🍩

Today I wanted to share a little bit about being Authentic!

When I stop and think about how magical and miraculous it is that each person is really unique and beautiful inside and that each person has oh so very different views, opinions, looks, likes and dislikes, interests, hobbies, goals, dreams, purposes, and passions!

I understand that in today’s society I understand how hard authenticity can be. There are days when I want to be Johanna Gaines, a celebrity, or someone on social media but at the end of the day I know that the only one who can be ME is ME!

Here’s some ways to practice authenticity:

🌟 Shine bright
 🌻 be vulnerable
 💛 embrace your imperfections
😎  embrace your inner beauty
✨be your one true self

2019: Year of Hope

Happy Year of hope for a cure of Huntingtons Disease!

I have to be a little honest with every one this morning I felt sad and lonely and wondering if I deserve love and a spouse and a family like it seems that every one I know has, but then my mom reminded  me of all of the thousands of incredible clinical trials going on in the HD community and a cure is so close that you e tcan almost taste it and that I’m only 28 and most people meet their spouses in their 30s!

Garth Brooks said it best, Our lives are better left in chance,  I could have missed the pain but I’d had to miss the dance and I would not miss this for the world!

I celebrated New Years last night with my moms family then today I went to the mall with my mom and it was a beautiful and sunny day!

My medical marijuana card has had a massive impact on all of my symptoms and has changed my life and made me feel normal and have energy again! Yay yay thank God because I was at a point where I was getting frustrated!

My word of the year:

- HOPE

My goals for the year:
- blog once a week because it’s really beneficial hfor me to write my story and get all of my feelings and frustrations out
- do yoga 5 times a week because before I got sick I did it and I miss it and it is beneficial to me and I can do it better now that my balance is better thanks to the medical marijuana

I hope that you have a passion filled New Year,
Alexandra
